Cigar Tasting Reviews

When a cigar pro hears about the Camacho, he is usually reminded of a rich taste that can just be found in tobaccos grown at Ranchos Jamastran in Danli, Honduras. This area in Central America has perfect soil conditions and a climate that rivals the coveted Vuelta Abajo region of Cuba.

It is at this plant in Honduras that you will find the famous Eiroa family.

The Eiroa's have been growing tobacco for ages, and got their start in Cuba. When Communism beset the island, Don Julio Eiroa fled taking with him some of the greatest experience and knowledge the tobacco world has ever known. Don Julia and his son Christian now run Rachos Jamastran together in Danli.

The Eiro's took more then just their know how with them when they left Cuba, they also took the Islands most tasty seed that was used at the El Corojo farm in Cuba. This seed is now cultivated in Honduras by Julio and Christian and is the only truly genuine Crojo in the world.

The yield of this seed is a rich and spicy leaf with lots of power. Camacho Corojo is a connoisseur's cigar in that it is appreciated most by cigar smokers who have over a decade in the hobby and a distinctive and experienced palate capable of differentiating all of the complexities of this Camacho.

This cigar release is full bodied and full flavored. The yearly production of Camacho Corojo is limited, making them hard to get at times.
