Oliva "O" Cigar Series
Further, in Nicaragua they are one of the largest tobacco growers and roll their own crop. They oversee every aspect of the production of a cigar from seed to smoke which is not something many people in the cigar business do successfully.
The "O" Classic earns its name as the original "O" blend to hit the market. The all Nicaraguan tobaccos used give this cigar a medium and well rounded body and aroma.
A silky Nicaraguan Colorado wrapper finishes this cigar making it look almost as good as it tastes. After the cigar boom the overall taste of the cigar community drifted towards fuller bodied cigars, Oliva reblended the "O" and named it "O" Bold honoring the new stronger blend.
However, while the new blend was received well and is still being sold today under that name, smokers everywhere wanted the original brought back, and so it was and it is now rightfully reffered to as the "O" Classic. Upon the blends re-release in 2005 it was met with some of the highest marks and ratings any cigar has ever received including a 92 rating from Cigar Aficionado Magazine.
