Montecristo Serie V Cigars

Enough already, we know that the Montecristo is one of the most renowned and desired cigars in the world, but do we have to hear that every time?

We didn't think so!!! What is fairly new though, to be precise since late 2001, is the Montecristo Serie V.

The V has Cameroon leaf wrapper and is handmade in La Romana, Dominican Republic. The ingredients, or as you should say the filler is a mix of Brazilian and Dominican tobacco.

All in all is the Montecristo Serie V full bodied, heartier and a more robust cigar, just right for a cigar aficionado that is looking for a smooth, fuller bodied smoke.

Here some facts & figures about this release:

Montecristo Serie V Mini Churchill

87 POINTS in December 2004 and 91 POINTS in August 2001. Come on guys, the cigar didn't change that much. At least we didn't think so. Again, judge for yourself.

What remained the same of course was the size, which is a Robusto. 5 inches long and a ring gauge of 48.

The Montecristo Serie V Mini Churchill is constructed very beautifully and has a rich color. The draw, in our opinion has not changed a bit: it draws evenly from start to finish.

The Mini Churchill also burn consistently and has a cedary and bread like taste. The smoke is peppery with hints of coffee beans.

The finish is short.
