Montecristo Platinum Series Habana No. 2
It received a 92 in 1998 but also an 86 in 2001. You"ll be the judge!
Well concerning the size, it is "A" of course and is 9 ¼" long.
The "A" from the "Le Cigare Des Arts" series is a bit lumpy, but with a nicely finished head. The draw is tad tight and firm. The cigar is woody and sweet, with a syrupy, marzipan taste, and a hint of nuts.

Montecristo Platinum Series La Baia
The board of judges gave the 5 1/2" X 44 Corona a score of 85 points.
The Platinum La Baia is a dark corona cigar that besides of having a nice burn also has a cocoa flavor to it.
But if you are looking for a cigar with a little more depth, you are better of with a different one because it lacks it. Most likely the reason for the relatively low score of 85.
Body: Mild
Montecristo Platinum Series Mini-Belicoso
The Mini Belicoso received 88 POINTS from Cigar Aficionado. It is 5" long and has a 52 ring.
This Figurado is a gorgeous mini-belicoso with a silky wrapper and a well constructed cap. Although the smoke is sharp, the taste is actually toasty and full of flavor.
Flavors include notes of vanilla and cream. Some reported peppery flavors! How did that happen? Well, but in the end those Montecristo cigars turn out to be spicy and yes, a little bitter.

Size: Figurado
Ring Gauge: 45
Length: 4"
The Petite Platinum No.2 is an elegant and well build little belicoso. These Montecristo cigars have a nice draw and burn up, with smoke that is sweet and to some extent peppery. Flavors that are grassy are up front.
Hints of brown sugar yield to an almond conclusion.

Montecristo Platinum Series Toro
The latest review came in October of 2004, where the Montecristo Platinum Toro received 86 POINTS.
The Corona Gorda measures 6" by 50.
The dark good textured wrapped Toro begins with a burn that is off at first but tends to even out while smoking. At least most of the time, sometimes we experienced a draw and burn that was inconsistent.
Flavors of fruit and deep licorice flavors direct to a leathery finish. The smoke has stimulating and rich notes including almonds and caramel.
